The very first love of my life was a big old tomcat named Hiball.  He was a stray I dragged in off the street,
and he became our family protector and my best friend.  Each night before bedtime, he'd make his rounds
and check on me and my sisters one at a time.  Once he knew we were okay, he'd hop out the window and
do his nightly kitty rounds, then return to check on us in the morning.

My dad used to sing a song to me about Hiball the Gnat who visited this guy in prison and became his
best & only friend, kept him from being lonely, helped him through hard times... and my Hiball, my best
buddy, was named after the Gnat.  :-)  Hiball certainly helped to create a lifelong love in me for all
creatures, great and small.

Years and years later, when I was out on my own and decided to get a purebred cat, it was a Persian.  And
once you've had one, you're just in love with the breed forever!  And I am!

For a few years, I raised Mastiffs.  All the while, nagging my husband for kitties!  And the moment he said
yes, I had my three himmies within a week!  Three days later, my husband was also in love with the
Persian cat!

We purchased Puddin', Princess, and Dutches, and thus Tennessee Purrsians Cattery began.  (Though I
tried out several names at first - Cheekitties, TNPersians, and TnHimmies.)

I always raised all my Mastiff puppies in my home with the best loving care that they could ever hope to
receive, and I promise to raise our kittens the same way!

I am always researching Persians and trying to stay up on everything we need to know, and I will share
that information via this site and gladly answer any questions that I can!

I look forward to meeting you all!  Please feel free to
email me any time if you have questions or are
interested in one of our kittens.

Thank you!

About Us...
We are beginning to specialize in tabbies, including chocolate, lilacs.  We are breeding for doll to
semi-face, cobby body, fluffy coat babies.  But our true specialities are socialization and customer service!
I don't have a job outside the home, so I get to spend all my time with our kittens.  And something I haven't
seen any other breeder offer, is the service of providing you with pictures of your kitten every single day
while you wait for them to come home!
(I take Sundays off and post Sunday's pictures on Monday.)

There are never any questions about how your baby is doing or how they are being cared for, as you get to
watch them grow up.  You see their eyes open, witness their first attempts at walking... You see their first
meal, their first bath, their first wrestling match with their brother!  And being on our waiting list is easier
because you get to feel like you are a daily part of your kitten's life from the moment they're born.
